Now if you ask me, Sam is the true hero in LotR and not Frodo. Frodo has the burden, of course, but Sam, even though he did have it sometimes, was never affected by it. He was at Frodo’s side when he believed Gollum’s lies. He carried him to Mordor, gave him the last drops of his water, and never asked for any recognition. It’s ok, I don’t dislike Frodo, I get that he spent so much more time with the ring than Sam, but Sam was just as important in destroying the ring, and in the end everyone is shouting ”FRODOOOO!” and I feel it’s so unfair, since in the end Frodo was just like Isildur. I mean, ok, Frodo is great and all, but Sam is just as important, if not more.
